At Seeds of Wonder, children are invited to explore, create, investigate, and express their ideas through open-ended materials and meaningful experiences. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, every session nurtures curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and joyful discovery.
The Atelier Experience
Children engage with thoughtfully designed invitations to explore materials such as clay, light, loose parts, textiles, and treasures from nature. These open-ended materials encourage children to wonder, investigate, test ideas, and express themselves in many different ways, nurturing creativity, collaboration, and meaningful learning.
Every Session is Unique
Each session evolves from children's interests, questions, and discoveries, creating a joyful space where curiosity takes root and wonder unfolds.
About the Educator
Hello! I’m Luisa.
I am an early childhood educator originally from the Philippines with over 15 years of teaching experience in international schools in New York and in the Swiss cantons of Geneva and Vaud. In 2019, I moved to Rotkreuz with my husband and our two children, where we continue to enjoy being part of this wonderful community.
I hold a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. During my studies, I discovered the Reggio Emilia approach, whose image of the child as capable, creative, and full of potential deeply resonated with me.
In 2013, I had the privilege of participating in a study programme in Reggio Emilia, Italy, visiting its renowned municipal early childhood centres and learning directly from the educators whose work continues to inspire teachers around the world. Seeing this philosophy in practice confirmed my belief that children thrive when their ideas are valued, their curiosity is nurtured, and their many ways of expressing themselves are celebrated.
Seeds of Wonder Atelier was born from this inspiration and from my desire to create a place where children feel a true sense of belonging—a place that invites them to explore, create, ask questions, and make meaning through open-ended experiences inspired by wonder, nature, and relationships.
